and Anchor Building
Next ProgramContact Matt Walker for more information. Reservations taken via email and phone. Please call to set-up dates and times for your group. This program is the first step in becoming a well-rounded climber and moving towards leading and more difficult climbs. This course takes you to the stage of being a fully participating member of the climbing team, able to make decisions about anchors and capable of their evaluation. We assume that you have had a fair bit of climbing experience before and know the basics of climbing so we do not spend time on climbing and movement skills - and focus on the art of placing protection and building strong, solid anchors. LocationsFor this adventure we have chosen a variety of well-suited climbs on Mt. Lemmon and Cochise Stronghold. Our aim is to choose a climb that maximizes learning while offering an exhilarating and enjoyable experience. |
