At Inner Passage, we facilitate once in a lifetime adventures to reconnect individuals with their leadership potential in their professional and personal lives.

We believe Adventure is Everything. This is not a slogan or tag-line. It is a belief and a lifestyle choice.

It is the belief that we are at our best when we are engaged in adventure. Simply, maintain a spirit of adventure in your life and you will achieve outstanding and amazing things. Adventure is everything.

We believe there are five elements in an adventure: endeavor, outcome, commitment, tolerance and support.

Endeavor

Are you engaged in a high endeavor? A high endeavor does not mean the highest peak or the biggest most technical ascent. A high endeavor is a goal that challenges and tests your preconceived notions of what is possible. It is the cornerstone of adventure. Without a high endeavor we would be left with bland and routine.

You determine what is your high endeavor. For us, it is taking you on an adventure of a lifetime.

Outcome

An adventure with a pre-determined outcome is not an adventure at all. It is an amusement park ride. It is an experience that lacks the fundamental quality of adventure: the unknown. We deliver adventure.

Whoa, really? Hang on a sec. Inner Passage is asking me (you, the High Performance Leader) to invest my time and money into an adventure that may not reach the summit or reach the pre-determined goal of the endeavor?

Yup, that is exactly what we are asking of you. We are not going to fleece you and tell you that we will complete the endeavor 100% of the time. There are factors out there beyond any of our control: weather, physical health, route conditions, etc. Real elements that are beyond human control. Other companies may not mention this, but hey, we are transparent and honest.

Will we bust our butts to climb to the summit with you? You bet! That is what we do.

Commitment

An adventure without commitment is what? An outing? A test run? Imagine what your business would be like if you were not committed? We all know what happens to businesses and projects that do not have total commitment? They crumble. An adventure demands total commitment.

Tolerance

Tolerance for adversity is more than survival. It is the ability to be nimble in the face of seeming defeat. It is the ability to remain curious, remain playful, and maintain mental and emotional flexibility.

Tolerance for adversity is more than hardiness or resiliency. It is endurance with style and grace. It is the single biggest predictor of leadership performance.

Support

None of us can do it alone. At least not for very long and not very well. We know it takes a team. A team in the trenches on the project, a team of people that support the team in trenches, family, friends, colleagues, those trailblazers in the industry before us. It takes a community to succeed. An adventure without support and companionship is doomed.

At Inner Passage we foster a community to reach our goals. Adventure is not a solo endeavor, it demands great companionship and community.
