Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching?Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives. Is coaching the same as therapy? No, coaching and development consulting is not the same as therapy. Coaching clients are motivated to change by seeking a richer life and taking proactive measures to attain goals. Coaching works towards a specific goal - moving from the present toward a future that the client designs. The role of Inner Passage is to empower the client and work as a guide. Coaching can help clients who are challenged by personal and professional situations that are affected by depression, anxiety, ADD / ADHD, OCD, grief, questions of identity, recovery, and communication obstacles. Is coaching and development work expensive? Does my insurance cover it?Coaching work is not expensive and insurance does not cover it. Most sessions are based on an hourly rate and longer-term contracts can be developed to save costs. Consider how much money we spend monthly on clothes, technology fees, and entertainment. Coaching and development consulting is a small investment towards your health and professional growth.
