This one week whirlwind trip will satisfy your need to get to the big mountains and is an excellent way to sneak some adventure into a busy schedule. Paria Canyon - Southwest Canyon Descent

Paria Canyon. 4 days. 38 labyrinthine miles beneath towering red sandstone walls (sometimes only 4 feet apart in some places). Live in an inspiring desert environment. Travel from the mouth of the canyon and descend to the Colorado River.
